About Little Crow Press
Little Crow Press is a small independent imprint. It publishes work on the Gurdjieff teaching — original commentary, editions of source material, and reference works for readers of Beelzebub’s Tales to His Grandson — together with books by other authors in the same field.
Imprints
Little Crow Press publishes books under its own imprint and under two others. The Karnak Press covers the Gurdjieff Work and related literature. Little Crow Press covers subjects relating to Data Algebra.
What the press publishes
Commentary. To Fathom The Gist, in three volumes, works through Gurdjieff’s writings: Approaches to the Writings of G. I. Gurdjieff, The Arch-Absurd, and The Arousing of Thought. Gurdjieff’s Hydrogens and Gurdjieff and Kundabuffer take single ideas and follow them through the teaching.
Source texts. The 1931 manuscript of Beelzebub’s Tales to His Grandson and its revised version, The Herald of Coming Good, and Sayings From The Gurdjieff Work.
Reference. A searchable index to Beelzebub’s Tales, a volume of notes, and side-by-side comparisons of the published text against the 1931 manuscript — tools for readers working closely with the book.
Other authors. Stephen Aronson on consciousness and on the correspondence between inner and outer worlds; Nella Liska on the Gurdjieff Movements; Terje Tonne on Rodney Collin.
Ordering and delivery
Orders are placed through the shop and paid by card. Books are posted worldwide, with postage charged once per order: $5.50 within the United States, $7.00 to Europe, $10.00 elsewhere.
The searchable index is supplied as a PDF download rather than a printed book.
